MIA → EZE Business December 2026

AA Flagship Business to Buenos Aires from 43K Points One-Way

Miami (MIA) to Buenos Aires (EZE), Business, One Way.

American's nonstop Miami–Buenos Aires Flagship Business seat is bookable from 43,000 Amex points one-way, against a $2,893.50 cash fare for the exact same flight. That works out to 6.6 cents per point — one of the best business class redemptions to South America right now. Availability runs December through February (Argentine summer), including New Year's Eve dates. Heads up: this is one-way availability only, so you'll need to sort your return separately.

The fastest way to book this is Alaska at 50K. The cheapest is Finnair at 43K, but it takes a phone call. Here's both.

Step 1: Confirm availability on Alaska

  1. Go to alaskaair.com and select "Use miles" plus "Flexible dates."

  2. Search MIA to EZE, one-way, with your full passenger count. Searching one direction at a time gives cleaner results.

  3. Filter results to "Partner Business" or "First Class," then filter for "Nonstop" and "American."

  4. Write down the flight number and date of anything showing at 50,000 points. You'll need it for the Finnair call.

Step 2: Book at 50K (easy) or 43K (cheaper)

To book at 50K: transfer Bilt points to Alaska Atmos (about 10 minutes) and complete the booking on alaskaair.com. Done.

To book at 43K: follow the steps below.

  1. Create a free Finnair Plus account if you don't have one.

  2. Contact Finnair reservations by phone or live chat — the current number is on finnair.com. American flights cannot be booked with Avios on Finnair's website.

  3. Ask the agent to check American Airlines business class award availability, and give them the exact route, date, and flight number you found on Alaska.

  4. Only once the agent confirms the seat: transfer Amex points to British Airways with the 30% bonus, then convert those Avios to Finnair. Ask the agent to stay on the line while the points land.

  5. Have the agent ticket the booking and confirm you're holding a confirmation number before you hang up.

Alternative: book directly with American

  1. On aa.com's advanced search page, select "Redeem miles," choose one-way, and set your passenger count.

  2. Set Class to "Business / First" and pick American Airlines from the Airline dropdown before searching.

  3. Click the Calendar tab to see the widest range of dates, then filter for Nonstop. Expect 72,000 miles — more points, but the easiest route if you need a connection from your home airport.
