Delta ran a nationwide SkyMiles sale to Taipei (TPE) and Hong Kong (HKG), with round-trip economy from 48,000 miles out of Seattle and 50,000 from Los Angeles, Denver, Phoenix, Portland, Salt Lake City, and both Washington D.C. airports. Most of the other 150-odd cities landed at 64,000. That's down from the 100,000+ these routes normally cost. The Seattle nonstop was the standout: 48,000 miles plus about $45 in taxes against roughly $881 in cash, or 1.74 cents per mile. Hong Kong from Los Angeles was arguably the better buy at 50,000 miles plus $85 against $1,070 in cash — closer to 2 cents per mile. Travel dates ran August through September 2026.
