Alaska opened up lie-flat First Class award space to Hawaii for 40,000 Atmos Rewards points each way from five West Coast cities - Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento, and Seattle - all nonstop, plus Seattle to Maui. That's roughly half the 80K+ these seats normally run. Cash fares on the same nonstops were checking in between about $770 and $1,380 one-way depending on departure time, so we anchored the comparison at $1,049.
